Legal and regulatory information

Project limitations, third-party services, and Texas and U.S. regulatory references.

Updated November 5, 2026 · NightsPost v2.0.3

Purpose and access

NightsPost is a personal software project based in Texas, United States. This website provides project information. It does not offer public accounts, software downloads, paid services, or access to a running NightsPost installation.

These notices describe the website regardless of whether you reach it through a search result, shared link, direct address, or hosting-provider address. Visiting a public page does not grant access to the private Host, Deck, accounts, credentials, or local network. Public availability is not an invitation to attempt unauthorized access.

Application terms of use

By using the NightsPost application, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Review the NightsPost Privacy Policy before using the application’s features. This application-use provision does not treat a visit to this informational website as authorization to access your Google account.

Version 2.0.3 requires acceptance of the current application privacy policy in the Host and each paired Deck browser. Read the policy before deciding whether to accept. Acceptance does not enable delivery automatically.

Development status and limitations

Features described on this website may be incomplete, planned, or dependent on local configuration and third-party approval. Descriptions are not guarantees of availability, compatibility, publication timing, successful delivery, security, or future development.

The website’s information is provided as available for general information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose is offered. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights.

This notice does not establish a service-level agreement, support commitment, or software license. No arbitration requirement, exclusive court venue, or waiver of legal rights is imposed merely by viewing these pages.

Third-party platforms and intellectual property

Names such as Google, YouTube, Discord, Bluesky, X, Tumblr, Instagram, TikTok, Microsoft, and Cloudflare identify relevant services or technologies. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners. Mentioning a service does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, certification, or approval of NightsPost.

Personal use may qualify for an OAuth verification exception, but does not remove Google user-data obligations. Private use also does not mean the Google project qualifies for the Workspace-only “Internal” audience. See Google’s verification exceptions.

Third-party services have their own terms, privacy policies, access requirements, quotas, and availability. An integration may change or stop working when those services change. A website, domain verification, or OAuth publishing status does not by itself establish that Google has verified or endorsed the application.

Links are provided for reference. Following them takes you to services governed by their own policies. No ownership of third-party content or marks is claimed, and no license to that material is granted here.

Publishing responsibilities

Anyone operating a NightsPost installation must have authority to access connected accounts and permission to publish the selected content. Review titles, links, messages, audience settings, and destination rules before enabling delivery. Automation does not remove responsibility for copyright, privacy, advertising disclosures, or platform policies.

Where U.S. advertising rules apply, material connections such as payments or free products may require clear, conspicuous disclosure in the announcement itself. A disclosure on this website is not a substitute. See the FTC’s endorsement and influencer guidance. NightsPost is not represented as automatically checking legal compliance or adding required disclosures.

Privacy and Texas regulatory information

The Privacy Policy describes application data and website hosting separately. A public static website still involves hosting-provider processing of visitor requests. Local application storage does not, by itself, establish a legal exemption or regulatory compliance.

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies according to its scope and exemptions. Where applicable, it provides rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain certain personal data, and to opt out of specified processing. Small businesses are generally exempt, with a specific consent requirement for sales of sensitive data. Purely personal or household processing is separately excluded. This site does not claim that a particular exemption has been established for every NightsPost activity.

See Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541 and the Texas Attorney General’s privacy-rights information and complaint resources. Applicable rights, complaint options, and statutory deadlines are not replaced by this notice.

Laws outside Texas may apply depending on the operator’s activities, the people affected, and the data processed. This notice does not select Texas law to the exclusion of mandatory protections elsewhere or claim worldwide compliance.

Children’s privacy

This site describes software for account operators and does not provide child-focused features, account registration, or submission forms. That description is not a determination that children’s privacy laws can never apply. U.S. COPPA requirements depend on factors including whether a service is directed to children under 13 or has actual knowledge of collecting their personal information. See the FTC’s COPPA guidance.

Do not send children’s personal information to the project. If such information may have been provided, raise the concern through the project contact. Contact the project operator with a concern or deletion request; this notice does not limit rights or obligations under applicable law.

Questions, reports, and legal review

For project questions, privacy requests, and security reports, email contact@nightspost.site. Do not send credentials, private databases, or sensitive personal information.

The regulatory summaries on this page are general information, not legal advice or a finding of compliance. An appropriately qualified attorney should review applicability and final wording before the project is offered more broadly. Project changes may require updated policies and procedures.
